Article 3: Membership
Article III – Membership
Section 1. Membership in the Association shall include all alumni brothers of good status with
the National Office of the National Fraternity (herein designated “National”) and the
Theta-Theta Chapter of the National Fraternity.
A. The Rights of Membership may only be revoked by failure to meet the
requirements set within the National Constitution, and are immediately
revoked upon termination of membership within the National Fraternity.
B. Associate membership may be granted to a brother of the Alpha Tau Omega
Fraternity initiated by a Chapter other than Theta Theta by the President,
granted membership of said brother does not violate this Constitution.
Section 2. Each Active Association Member shall be entitled to one vote at each meeting of the
General Assembly with the exception of the President, who shall not be considered a
voting member on either the General Assembly or the Executive Council, but shall
cast his vote only in the event of a tie.
Section 3. An Active Association Member must be present to vote, with the exception of an
absentee ballot accepted approved under special circumstances by the Executive Vice
President during the time of the voting.
Section 4. Active Membership in the Association (designated as an “Active Association Member”
or “Member”) shall be maintained by the payment of dues annually in accordance
with Article VII, Section 2.
