79th Alpha Tau Omega Congress
The 79th Alpha Tau Omega National Congress has officially opened and over 600 Taus from across the Nation have "embarked" on Orlando Flordia for the event, including 7 from our very own Illinois Theta Theta chapter.
Both the Illinois Theta Theta Undergraduate Chapter and the Illinois State Theta Theta Alumni Association have sent delegates to this years Congress, held every two years. Worthy Master John Schuller's delegation includes Worthy Chaplain Richard Hentziel, previous Worth Master and Worthy Keeper of Annals Rahil Kassam, and previous Worthy Marshall Zac Summers. The Alumni Association has sent president Andy D'Amico, Class Delegate Evan Ponder, and Public Relations Chairman Kevin Petschow to represent our Theta Theta Alumni.
Following two days of meetings and activities, the Congress participants will be enjoying an evening at Universal Studios Orlando before the True Merit award recipients are announced on Saturday evening at the Awards banquet, held at the Renaissance Sea World.
Local alumni are also invited to join us at ATOnight on Thursday evening at 5PM in the lobby of the Renaissance Seaworld. (Admission is free and guests are welcome!)
