Undergraduates, BOT recognized for Excellence

Both the undergraduate chapter and the Board of Trustees were recognized Friday morning by the Alpha Tau Omega National fraternity for their excellence in Chapter operations. 

The undergraduate members received the chapter Excellence award in the key areas of Pledge Education, Ritual, Financial Management, Involvement, and Leadership. Worthy Master John Schuller was excited to accept this award on the behalf of the chapter, which has been working to develop these areas over the past year.

The Board of Trustees also received the prestigious Upper Alpha Award, awarded to chapter BOTs which exemplify leadership and service to their undergraduate brothers. Trustee Kevin Petschow was in Orlando to receive the award on the behalf of Dan Manno, Board of Trustee chairman.

Awards in outstanding community service, as well as several scholarships, were also given. The recipients of the coveted Top Chapter, True Merit, and True Merit Runner-up awards will be announced tomorrow evening at the Awards banquet.
